04/01/09 - 12:54 PM CDT Name: "Uncle Scott"I tune to CNN for any breaking stories and occasionally watch the CBS affilate in Portland for local news. I enjoy the MSNBC lineup, but don't watch often. Once Sgt. Ian returns to Iraq this summer, I'll be tuning into BBC America's International News and PBS' Jim Lehrer for the latest in the Middle East. 04/01/09 - 1:04 PM CDT Name: "Uncle Scott"
Of course, you cannot rely solely on TV as your news source. Google News is an invaluable source for daily news. The local newspaper's website is informative for what's going on in your neighborhood, and use the biggest newspaper inyour state to follow legislative matters. Sites like the Drudge Report and TMZ are garbage...stick to the New York Times and Washington Post.
